After two years, CHANDO, rooted in the Himalayas, has once again brought groundbreaking innovations to the makeup industry.
On May 17, at the trendy cultural district of Chengdu’s East Suburb Memory, CHANDO hosted a pop-up event combining creative makeup transformations, interactive product experiences, and live music. At the event, CHANDO not only unveiled a series of new makeup products but also officially announced the dawn of a new era for CHANDO Makeup.

As the saying goes, “No breakthrough without disruption.” Two years ago, CHANDO began restructuring its existing makeup product lines, implementing bold reforms in formulations, visual identity, and product positioning. Leveraging the brand’s Himalayan heritage and proprietary base makeup technologies, CHANDO redesigned its packaging and launched its first “Born for Better Skin” makeup collection.
At the event, CHANDO Makeup showcased six products—foundation, cushion compact, primer, setting spray, lipstick, and lip gloss—centered around the trending “dewy glow” aesthetic. These products redefine natural-looking makeup with their lightweight, long-lasting, and ultra-refined formulas. The vibrant rose-themed installations, cozy camping zones, and pink wish walls at the venue perfectly echoed the collection’s theme.

Among the highlights, four base makeup products cover the entire routine from skincare to setting. CHANDO combined years of scientific research with deep insights into the base makeup market, integrating technology and fashion. Utilizing innovative base makeup technologies and ingredients inspired by the Himalayan extremes, the collection embodies sustainable beauty awakened by nature.
For example, the new LONG-LASTING SOFT TOUCH MATTE FOUNDATION addresses three common issues—powder separation, smudging, and patchiness—with Amino Acid Pigment Encapsulation Technology and 3D Mesh Film-Forming Technology. Enhanced by 4D Lightweight Matte Powder and oil-control factors, the foundation creates a resilient “second-skin” mesh1 that locks pigments in place, ensuring a flawless, transfer-resistant finish for up to 24 hours2.
To balance makeup longevity with skincare benefits, CHANDO incorporated low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid for deeper absorption and Himalayan Tea Cryo-Extract processed via freeze-drying. This synergy achieves both long-lasting wear and skin nourishment.
By reimagining base makeup essentials, CHANDO’s new collection tackles core concerns—longevity, texture, and comfort—establishing a competitive edge through high performance and skin-friendly formulas.

Through market research, CHANDO identified the rising trend of "natural-looking" makeup, with nude and matte finishes becoming indispensable in today’s beauty landscape. Data from MeiLi XiuXing (a leading beauty platform) highlights that domestic makeup products emphasizing "matte" and "nude" claims have seen the fastest growth in registrations over the past three years, solidifying "textured nude" as the new trend.
Building on its "Natural Skin" base makeup line, CHANDO Makeup launched a low-saturation, matte-finish lip collection. Enhanced by Air-Film Technology and a blend of nourishing botanical complexes, the lip products deliver a weightless, veil-like feel while moisturizing lips—achieving a "matte yet hydrated" finish that is velvety without dryness.
CHANDO Makeup will continue to innovate, with upcoming releases of its first eyeshadow, blush, and highlighter series. This expansion will complete its full-range product architecture, establishing a comprehensive CHANDO Makeup system to aggressively capture market share and solidify its leadership in the competitive beauty industry.
Notably, the revamped collection has garnered praise from early consumers and professional makeup artists alike. At the event, Du Xiangyu, a renowned makeup artist from the hit variety show The Glory of Colors: Artisans’ Challenge Season 2, stunned the audience by transforming a guest’s look into a radiant “520 Oxygen Glow Makeup.”

From May 18 to 21, the pop-up continued to welcome visitors with floral displays and music. Attendees enjoyed complimentary skincare consultations, full makeup services by CHANDO beauty advisors, and free samples paired with 520-themed roses, immersing themselves in the magic of CHANDO’s new collection.
In an era of fierce competition among domestic makeup brands, CHANDO, with its unique Himalayan imprint, is crafting a fresh identity for the industry, driving innovation and vitality.
Notes:
1、The 3D mesh film mimics a “second skin,” offering lightweight comfort without clogging pores.
2、Based on self-evaluations from 34 CHANDO consumers (aged 18–45) using Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in N02 Ivory for 24 hours: 79.41% endorsed its longwear performance. Results may vary.
