In the first half of 2023, industries across China embraced transformation and recovery. From Zibo barbecue to crowded tourist attractions during Labor Day and summer study tours, signs of rebounding consumer confidence emerged nationwide. According to statistics, the cosmetics industry outperformed the broader market, with retail sales reaching 207.1 billion yuan in the first half of the year. CHANDO’s supermarket channel has continuously strengthened its growth momentum by innovating a "partner model," empowered by digital intelligence, achieving a tripartite win-win for JALA Group, distributors, and partners.
After two years of refinement, the supermarket channel has seen an increasing number of outstanding partners succeed in entrepreneurship. Today, we introduce three exemplary individuals: Wu Lixia from Nanjing and Jia Bangmei and Pan Huaping from Chengdu.
Wu Lixia: Stepping Out of Her Comfort Zone to Embrace a Broader Life
Wu Lixia, a former employee of CHANDO’s Nanjing distributor, recognized the new partner model as an opportunity to challenge herself and step beyond her comfort zone. Aligning closely with corporate strategies, she integrated resources, refined goals, and leveraged company policies and digital tools to drive retail growth. By focusing on transitioning from skincare to seasonal product portfolios, she boosted business performance. In Q1 2023, average counter sales rose from 80,000 yuan pre-pandemic to 86,000 yuan, with March sales exceeding 117,000 yuan. Post-transition, beauty advisors’ salaries increased by 50%, while partner income grew by 20%, achieving multi-stakeholder success!
Jia Bangmei: My Success Stems from the Power of Belief
Joining CHANDO's Beauty Expert Team at 19, Jia Bangmei evolved over 12 years from novice to Five-Star Beauty Consultant Captain and Top Ten Sales Supervisor. Driven by deep trust in the company and a determination to "seize opportunities while young," she boldly transitioned to a partner role. To master new skills, she immersed herself in store operations, mall contract negotiations, and other unfamiliar areas, delivering tangible results: From October 2022 to March 2023, average monthly sales reached 390,000 yuan, a 25% quarter-on-quarter increase surpassing expectations, while her personal income tripled, achieving both career and personal fulfillment.
Pan Huaping: Once Unimaginable Dreams, Now Realized
Hailing from a rural village and overcoming career detours, Pan Huaping ultimately rooted herself in cosmetics. When the Partner Model launched, her decade-long expertise had already made her a nationally top-performing corporate employee. Despite stable income, she chose to venture further. Initial losses and financial pressures tested her resolve, but with corporate support and relentless effort, persistence paid off. Now, Pan has purchased property and vehicles in Chengdu through self-reliance, enrolled her child in private education, and realized what she once deemed impossible.
