It vividly embodies the collaborative spirit of “mountains and seas joining hands, celebrating beauty in harmony.”

East–West Collaboration Through Culture: An Aesthetic Dialogue Across Mountains and Seas
Since Fengxian District and Dali Prefecture established a paired assistance relationship in 2021, the two sides have upheld the principle of “complementary strengths, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation.” They have carried out comprehensive collaboration in areas such as industrial cooperation, livelihood improvement, and talent exchange, forming a multi-level cooperation system. This exhibition is a vivid extension of that system in the cultural field.
As a company rooted in Fengxian and connected to Yunnan, CHANDO Group has long been actively involved in east–west collaboration. Dali Prefecture in Yunnan is an important source of premium raw materials for CHANDO. In October 2023, the two sides took the lead in launching a city IP co-branding collaboration, releasing the Polar Sacred Water “Wind, Flower, Snow and Moon” Dali Limited Edition. In July 2024, they again launched co-branded products including the euspa Wind, Flower, Snow and Moon customized hair and body care series and the Dali 3000 Sunscreen Set.
In the same year, during the Fengxian District–Dali Prefecture East–West Collaboration Joint Conference, CHANDO Group donated RMB 500,000 to the Dali Prefecture Poverty Alleviation Foundation, supporting local development through concrete action. The co-hosting of this intangible cultural heritage printmaking exhibition marks another innovative practice by CHANDO to deepen the connection between the two regions and empower collaboration through culture.
At the opening ceremony, Dr. Chen Juanling, General Manager of Public Affairs at CHANDO Group, said in her speech that the exhibition is the 12th edition of the CHANDO Art Program and a special cultural tribute to the Group’s 25th anniversary theme, “Together for Greater Beauty.” CHANDO has always been committed to integrating the beauty of technology, culture, and nature. This joint printmaking exhibition is a concrete action by the company to participate in east–west collaboration and promote the revitalization of intangible cultural heritage.
She noted that CHANDO hopes the exhibition will “allow more people to see the vitality of intangible cultural heritage in contemporary life, and to witness the new brilliance created through the encounter of different cultures.” Through the garden fair, blessing activities, and hands-on experiences, visitors can enjoy an emotional journey that is “worth seeing, worth playing, and worth praying for.”
Following the remarks, representatives from both sides jointly unveiled the exhibition. Guests then visited the Cosmetics Science and Art Exhibition at CHANDO Future Beauty City and the “Journeying in Pursuit of Beauty”printmaking exhibition. Works from the two regions were displayed side by side, creating an artistic dialogue across geography and time, and conveying the cultural ideal of “each beauty shines in its own way, and all beauty thrives together.”

The exhibition is divided into two major sections: “Imprints of Wishes: The Spiritual Map of Jia Ma” and “Local Dialogues: Fengxian Printmaking Practices.” Together, they systematically showcase the artistic characteristics and cultural significance of printmaking from both regions.
Dali Jia Ma woodblock prints originated in the Tang Dynasty. Created through woodblock printing on Jia Ma paper, their motifs include deities, nature, and scenes of daily life. Often described as “messengers between humans and gods,” Jia Ma prints are commonly used in blessing and worship rituals, carrying the Bai people’s hopes for peace, harvest, and health.
Fengxian printmaking, meanwhile, is rooted in Jiangnan culture. It integrates modern creative language and uses delicate carving techniques and rich compositions to present the contemporary spirit and humanistic warmth of a coastal new city.
